See [Cruise Control Overview - Automate Your Inventory with Rules](https://help.carpages.ca/knowledge/cruise-control?hsLang=en) and [How to Create a Cruise Control Rule](https://help.carpages.ca/knowledge/create-a-cruise-control-rule?hsLang=en). ### Tips - Use clear, specific names such as New Car Admin Fee, so the rules list is easy to scan. - Always check the matched-vehicle count before saving. If it is much larger or smaller than expected, review the criteria. - Disable instead of deleting. Keep a rule switched off if you may want it again, for example a seasonal sale. - Practise safely. A rule that matches vehicles and has a price modifier changes live prices once it is enabled and saved. Close the window with Cancel (do not save), wait for the list to finish loading, and click New Rule again. ![cruise-control-02-new-rule-button](https://help.carpages.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Guide%20Assets/cruise-control-02-new-rule-button.png?width=670&height=897&name=cruise-control-02-new-rule-button.png) #### Save is greyed out The rule needs a name, and any modifier needs a label, a type and a numeric value.
