# Creating a Slideshow

Using the menu on the left-hand side, select **Slideshows**, then click **Add New**.

**Tip:** Be sure to name your slide so that you can easily find them later on. 

 

To add an image, click **Add Image**. You will then be taken to your media gallery, where you can select which image you would like to appear in your slider.  

Once your image has been selected, press **Select** to save your slide. 

 

To specify a category, on the right-hand side you will find a **Slideshow** section with a list of existing categories. From there, select the category you would like to add the slide to.

 

**Note:** A category must be selected in order to have your slide appear in the correct slider.

To create a new category for a new slider, simply enter the name of the slider category and select Add New **Slideshow**:
