Start with [Cruise Control Overview - Automate Your Inventory with Rules](https://help.carpages.ca/knowledge/cruise-control?hsLang=en). --- ### Step 1: Open Cruise Control - Sign in to your [Dealer Dashboard](https://www.carpages.ca/dashboard/). (Need help? See [How to Sign in to Dealer Dashboard](https://help.carpages.ca/knowledge/adding-a-vehicle-in-dealer-dashboard?hsLang=en).) - In the sidebar, under Inventory, click Cruise Control, or go straight to [Inventory \> Cruise Control](https://www.carpages.ca/dashboard/cruise-control). - Wait for the rules list to finish loading before you click anything. For Sale Type, pick New or Used. - Add more criteria if you need them. All criteria must be true for a vehicle to match. - The window shows how many vehicles the rule matches, and lists them. Required. - Type: choose Surcharge, Discount, Equipment or Incentive. Required. - Value: the dollar amount, entered as a number. An enabled rule starts affecting matching vehicles as soon as it is saved. - Click Save. Switch Enabled? off before you click Save. You can switch it on later. --- ### What Happens Next? Rules run when vehicles are saved, or added or updated from a feed. To review the vehicles a rule matches, open the rule and check the list in its window. The list was still loading and shifted. Click Cancel (do not save), wait for the list to finish loading, and click New Rule again. #### Save is greyed out. The rule needs a name, and any modifier needs a label, a type and a numeric value.
